Great news Nevadans! NV Energy has an agreement to grandfather existing solar customers for which the Nevada Public Utilities Commission must vote on for approval. Today, the PUCN unanimously voted to grandfather 32,000 existing solar customers back into NEM 1 rates. All the hard work of our solar supporters are coming to fruition.
Customers who have had a reservation prior to December 31, 2015, are now eligible to be grandfathered under the old rates for 20 years. Please contact Sol-Up for more information on how to take advantage of the opportunity to go solar. We welcome all customers.
